Features
The Aloinopsis species are so-called “ice plants,” named for the bumps on their leaves that resemble dapples of frost. Ice plants are also known for their daisy like flowers, and the Aloinopsis species are no exception. They are also winter growers, going dormant in the summer, and can tolerate temperatures down to 23° F (-5° C). Though extremely popular around the world as houseplants, they are native only to South Africa.
