Features
The Anacampseros genus consists of several species of small succulents native to South Africa. Most members of this group grow in slowly spreading mats of green rosettes sometimes tinged with red. Lovely white to purple flowers resembling violets spring from the rosettes on some species, giving the plant a magical look. The genus is named for an herb that, according to the Ancient Greeks, one could touch to restore lost love.
