Features
Graptoveria is a hybrid cross between two popular indoor succulents: Echeveria and Graptopetalum. Like the parent plants, Graptoveria-type succulents produce masses of tight rosettes–from 4″ to 10″ (10 to 25cm) across. Graptoveria ‘Fred Ives’ produces fleshy pink and purple leaves. The unique foliage colors are enhanced and heightened when the plants are stressed by drought conditions. This succulent yields tiny starbursts of pale yellow flowers with red orange centers. Who was Fred Ives? Mr. Ives was a founding member of the National Cactus & Succulent Society in England in 1946.
