Features
Pachyveria are easy-care hybrid crosses between pachyphytum and echeveria. Their name comes in part from the Greek word pachy, meaning “thick,” and these hybrids do share characteristic thick, fleshy leaves formed into low rosettes. Beyond that, the color of the leaves—from a light gray through green to red, pink, and purple—and that of the infrequent blooms varies greatly between pachyveria plants of different types.
Uses
Perfect for all kinds of containers, dish gardens, and terrariums. Does well in rocky soil and rock garden displays. Makes a great gift plant especially for those inexperienced with houseplants.
