Easy Slow Cooker Stuffed Bell Peppers

Ingredients

6 sweet bell peppers washed, topped and seeded

1 1/2 – 2 pounds ground beef

1 cup cooked rice

1 small onion, chopped

1 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon black pepper

dash of fresh basil, chopped

1/2 cup ketchup

1 8-ounce can tomato sauce

Directions

Brown the beef in a skillet. Combine the meat with the next six ingredients in a bowl. Stuff the bell peppers with the mixture, then arrange them in large crock pot. Pour the tomato sauce over the peppers. Cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
